Hanging out with Aunt Emily and Justin

We had a wonderful time celebrating Andy's birthday with his family. They cooked us some yummy stuff on the grill. We all sat around and ate and talked and had a wonderful time.
I didn't take any pictures, but we went to dinner with my siblings who live here in Utah at The Red Iguana. Thanks to both of our families for helping us celebrate! I feel so luck to have such a wonderful guy around!

Las Vegas

Andy's bosses took a bunch of his coworkers to Las Vegas this past weekend. It was so fun! We got there Saturday night and went to check in at the Aria. It is this huge hotel and casino. When we went to check in, I guess we were booked for a "smoking optional" room. That wasn't going to work for us. The girl at the front desk put us in a non-smoking room because she saw Emma. (That is just one of the MANY perks of having her around.) They didn't have any regular non-smoking rooms available, so they upgraded us to this suite on the 55th floor. It was amazing! We had a beautiful view of the city, a heated toilet seat, two T.V.s, and a remote for the lights and curtains.
We just stayed until Monday morning, but we tried to fit in as much as possible. Andy's managers took all the workers to a buffet for breakfast. We went to the Bellagio to see the garden thing where everything is made of flowers. Then we went to see an exhibit of real Monet paintings (Do we sound fancy?). We went and saw the Las Vegas Temple. Then we got some frozen hot chocolate at a place called Serendipity 3. Then Emma had a meltdown. We tried to fit in as much as possible and didn't fit in a nap for Emma. Bad choice. We spent the rest of the night hanging out in our room watching TLC and eating dinner.
Then we got up at five thirty to head back. Emma was amazing both flights and hardly cried. I was pretty scared to fly with her, but she slept almost the entire time. Poor Andy had to go straight to work, but he is pretty tough.

I dedided to take some pictures of Emma in her dress after the actual blessing day. Right after she was blessed, she decided to poop everywhere, so we had to change her right out of her clothes...

Emma's Blessing

We just had Emma blessed in church on Sunday (5-6-12), and being the totally disorganized person that I am, I totally forgot to take any pictures. I feel terrible! I get a little bit stressed out when I am in charge of big gatherings of people...
Emma looked beautiful in her little white dress. Andy gave her a beautiful blessing. My brothers, most of my brothers-in-law, Andy's brother Wade, and our dads were able to stand in the circle with him. I am so thankful for all of the support we have from our wonderful families. They are the best! Emma is so lucky to have so many great people around to support her.
After church, we had a little gathering in a park and ate lunch.  My mom cooked a ton of food, and Andy's mom brought a ton of fruit. It was all so good.

Andy's Graduation!!!!

This picture totally fits Andy's personality.

Andy had to have Emma in every picture.

We are so glad that they could come and support Andy on his big day!

Andy actually graduated in December, but the University of Utah only has commencement in April. This is lucky because we got to celebrate twice! He earned a degree in economics with a minor in business. I am so proud of him! While we were standing around taking pictures, an old man said that I earned my "P.H.T." degree. I asked him what that was, and he said that it stood for "Put Husband Through." I thought it was pretty funny.
Here is a funny story from that day: I am still adjusting to taking care of another person, so I was running late to the ceremony. I was carrying Emma in her seat and walking in my first pair of high heels (they were actually wedges) since before being pregnancy and walking really fast and I totally tripped and fell. Thankfully I just set the carseat down, but I sprawled out on the ground very ungracefully. My skirt came up, I skinned my knee, and everyone around me was looking at me concern. I felt soooooooo ridiculous. On the bright side, Andy bought me a new pair of shoes-flats.

Random shots of Emma

Baby Shower

My wonderful family threw a baby shower for me. We had so much fun!

April, Camile, Stephanie, and myself. We all lived together at school, and had so much fun together!

We had a bow making contest, and these were the results. I honestly can't remember who won.

 29 weeks pregnant
39 weeks and 4 days pregnant.

You may be able to tell from lack of pictures, but I didn't really love taking pregnancy pictures. However, I feel like I should document the few I had. I think I was perpetually tired. The last picture was taken two days before Emma was born.

Baby Emma

We are so excited that baby Emma has finally come! We have been so busy watching her grow that we haven't put up her pictures.
Emma Collette Crapo was born on March 10th around 4:00 A.M. Friday afternoon (March 9th), I was finishing things up at school when my water broke. I wasn't having any contractions, so I was pretty suprised. Andy came home from work, and we started getting ready to go. My midwife told me I needed to come to the hospital by 10:00 or sooner if my contractions started. When we got to the hospital (at ten on the dot), my contractions were about three minutes apart.
Andy was so helpful, and he didn't even freak out at all. My mom came, and it was so neat to have her there. We also had an awesome midwife and the best doula ever. They were so helpful.
Emma came out weighing seven pounds, three ounces with white, blonde haire and blue eyes. Most people have said that she looks like Andy. She is beautiful, and we love having her!!!!!
